MAP USE

Zoom In Tool
The Zoom In tool is used to zoom into an area on the map to inspect in greater detail. Click the Zoom In tool and hold and drag the mouse over the location on the map to zoom in. The map view redraws and the extent is shown in greater detail

Zoom Out Tool
The Zoom Out tool is used to zoom out and view a larger area of the map. Click the Zoom Out tool and then hold and drag the mouse over the location to zoom out. The map view redraws with less detail and larger geographical area.

Pan Tool
The Pan tool is used to shift to a new area on the map. Click the Pan tool and then left click and drag on the map to shift the view to the chosen area. Clicking a different area on the map will redraw the map to the new centered location.

Census Report
The Census Report option allows you to view an aggregated report of the current demographic query across multiple census tracts: First, select the Census Report tool by clocking on it. You may now select multiple census tracts (note: you need to have an active demographic map/query first) by left clicking on them. The aggregated report (showing minimum, maximum and average values) will appear below the map.

Census Info
The Census Info feature will provide a detailed report on a selected census tract. First, create a demographic Find a Market query, then select the Census Info tool. Left click on a census tract and a detailed report will appear in a floating window. Click the close box to close the report or the small triangle button to collapse the report but leave the window bar intact.

Full Extent
Clicking the Full Extent button will zoom your view out to show the map of the entire MarketMaker state.

Help
When you see the question mark icon on a page, there is a Help tip available to you. Click on the blue question mark to learn more about a MarketMaker feature.
